Privacy Policy

At Work Happy, your privacy matters. Any personal information you provide to us, whether verbally, in writing, electronically, or via our website will be collected, stored, and handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We only use your information with your consent, to deliver our services, and to meet our legitimate business needs.

Because happiness matters and so does your privacy.

Introduction
Work Happy is dedicated to safeguarding your personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your data. It applies to all information collected directly by our team, through forms, or via our website.

If you have any questions or concerns about how your personal information is managed, you can contact us anytime at connect@workhappy.com.au

When you engage with our services (for example, wellbeing programs, coaching, counselling, or EAP support), we will ask for your consent to process your information in accordance with this policy.

What Information We Collect

Depending on the service or interaction, we may collect:

  • Contact details – such as your name, phone number, and email, to respond to enquiries or arrange appointments.
  • Referrals – if you self-refer or are referred by your employer, manager, or advisor, we collect relevant details including your wellbeing needs and availability.
  • Initial Assessments – during your first session, we may ask about your personal, social, medical, and work circumstances to ensure you receive the most suitable support.
  • Session Notes – brief summaries of key themes, strategies, and next steps recorded securely after each session. With your consent, these may be shared with your referring organisation if applicable.
  • Action Plans – we may create a Wellbeing or Workplace Action Plan together. With your permission, this can be shared with your employer, manager, or advisor to help support your goals.
  • Website data – our website uses cookies and Google Analytics to understand visitor behaviour and improve user experience.

By providing personal information through our website or by email, you consent to us storing and using that information to respond to your request.
